New Workshop - Sculpted Wax Pendant with Prong-Set Gemstone - Oct 4 and 11

Let your imagination take shape in silver.

In this two-part jewellery workshop, you’ll create a sculptural pendant entirely your own—no moulds, no templates, just hands-on exploration with wax, fire, and metal.

Day 1: Sculpting in Wax

We’ll begin with thin sheets of jeweller’s wax, folding, layering, and curving them into free-form shapes. You’ll learn how to apply heat to manipulate the wax, use wax wires for embellishments, and sculpt a pendant that reflects your style—organic, abstract, floral, or completely unexpected. The finished wax piece will then be cast in sterling silver between sessions.

Day 2: Stone Setting & Finishing

Your silver pendant returns from casting, ready for refinement. This session focuses on basic silvermithing techniques: you’ll attach a prong setting and securely mount a gemstone to complete your design. You'll work with a 5.5–6mm synthetic stone included with your class—but if you're looking for something extra special, natural gemstones will also be available for purchase in the studio.

Then comes the magic of finishing—filing, oxidizing, texturing, or polishing your pendant to bring out every intentional curve and detail.

Included in the Workshop:

• 20 grams of sterling silver

• One pre-made prong setting

• One synthetic gemstone (5.5–6mm)

• Full access to tools and materials

Chains and leather cords are available in-store (or bring your own). All pendants are designed to be wearable by the end of the second class.

Class Size & Atmosphere

We keep class sizes small to ensure plenty of one-on-one instruction and a relaxed, supportive environment. No experience is necessary—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to try something new.

Workshops run once the minimum enrollment is met. To avoid disappointment, we recommend registering at least 10 days in advance.
